Ronald Edmund Keary passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 7, 2019. Ron was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on August 28, 1961 to Ronald Michael Keary and Maureen Cecilia Cummings and was raised in Jackson, New Jersey. Ron graduated Jackson Memorial High School and attended Brick Computer School, after which, he moved to Virginia to begin his career at Burroughs Computer as a field service engineer. Ron continued to work in field service at Prism and then Unisys before landing his coveted job at AOL as a Data Center Engineer. Throughout his career, Ron was an asset to the job and always well respected by his co-workers. In 1986, Ron married Jessica Fischer who gave him his beautiful daughter, Christine. Ron was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time on the water. His biggest thrill was when his little girl would ask him to bring home nightcrawlers so they could fish the pond behind their house.

In 1998 Ron met his soul-mate, Jodie Marie Parker at a Parents Without Partners event. Six months later they started their 20+ year honeymoon.  Ron enjoyed music, playing guitar, gardening and cooking for his family and friends. His dream was to one day retire to Florida.

Ron is survived by his parents; his wife, Jodie; daughter Christine and husband Zack Kelly; step-daughter, Cheryl and husband Jason Boyd; sister, Barbara Garza and husband Hector Garza; three grandchildren, Caroline Genarelli, Jacob Boyd and Jace Boyd; five nieces and two nephews, eight aunts; four uncles and 60 plus cousins… Ronnie, you will be sorely missed.
