Rose (Dolly) Jewell

Rose (Dolly) Jewell passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on February 7, 2023. She was born and raised in Leesburg, VA. She was one of thirteen siblings.

Rose was a longtime employee at Safeway until her retirement.  She always enjoyed company with family and friends and sharing her sassiness and wit with all those around.  She always enjoyed her weekly hair appointments and was an avid bingo player.

She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Jewell and her son Robert Costello.  She is survived by children Mike Jewell of Berryville, Debbie Jewell-Wheeler of Round Hill, and Tim Jewell of Strasburg, grandchildren Tracey Biery of Florida, Kerri Holt of Florida, Jason Fogle of Round Hill, Allison Jewell of Berryville, Tim Jewell of Strasburg, and Hannah Jewell of Berryville.

Funerial Services will be held at Colonial Funeral home in Leesburg, VA.  Viewing held Monday, February 13 from 6-8pm.  Funeral to be held Tuesday, February 14 at 11am. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.
