Mrs. Rose Riemer Lowe of Ashburn, VA (age 92) passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. She is predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Marion Lee Lowe, her sister Regina Riemer, her brother Roberto Reimer.  She is survived by her children Richard Lowe (Karen) and Paula Anne Lowe and grandchildren Kevin Lowe and Michele Lowe.

Rose was born in Rio de Janiero, Brazil and moved to the U.S. in 1960 where she worked for the Brazilian Embassy (Mission to the OAS) in Washington DC for over 20 years. She resided in Arlington, Virginia with her husband Lee where they raised their family. She retired in the late 1980s and moved to Staunton, Virginia with her husband Lee and daughter Paula.  She recently moved back to the northern Virginia area where she resided at Waltonwood Assisted Living Facility.

A small gathering and viewing will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
