Samuel Washington Allison Jr. of Hamilton, Va. died on 12/27/17 in Aldie, Virginia.  Sam was a truck driver for over 50 years who loved shooting matches and watching wrestling.  He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Elizabeth Allison and siblings Betty Louise Saunders, Mary Elizabeth Blankenship and William Franklin Allison.  He is survived by his fiancé Minnie Hensley, children Greg (Lisa) Allison and Dawn (Jack) Williams, stepchildren John (Traci) Bryram III and Tammy (David) McGaha, grandchildren Tasha Younkin, Amber Younkin, Lauren Plaugher, Nick Allison, Savannah Allison, David McGaha Jr., Crystal McGaha, John Byram IV and Heather Byram, 8 great grandchidren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held 1/2/18 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm; funeral will be 1/3/18 at 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA.  Interment will follow immediately at Lovettsville Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Capital Caring.
