Sandra Lee Schultz was born on August 22, 1966 at the Bethesda Naval Hospital. Sandy grew up in Frederick, Maryland and was a 1984 Graduate of Frederick High School. After high school, Sandy went on to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from Frostburg State University.

When Sandy walked into a room, everyone couldn't help but notice her beautiful golden locks and her icy blue eyes. She had a great love of animals, music, Disney Princesses and anything and everything to do with the Renaissance Festival where she worked for over 15 years. While Sandy never had any children of her own, she adored her Niece, Ally and her cats, Toonces and Sully.

Early in her career, Sandy worked for NBC Sports as a Producer and covered 3 Olympics, 1988 Seoul, South Korea; 1992 Albertville, France; and 1996 Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She also worked for the David Letterman Show and Saturday Night Live.

Left to cherish her memory are her Mother, Susan Svienty McCue, her Father, Virgil Lavern Schultz and Family, her Sister, Cynthia Armstrong, Brother-in-law, James Armstrong and Niece, Alexandria Armstrong and her cat "Sully".

She was predeceased by her Step-Father, Carlos "Curly" McCue, who she missed greatly.

Sandy lost her very long battle with breast cancer on Saturday October 21, 2017. Sandy would want everyone to consider making a donation to The Susan G. Komen Foundation to help end Breast Cancer in her honor https://ww5.komen.org/ .

Family and friends are invited to share their memories at Colonial Funeral Home; 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 am, with services to start at 1:00 pm.

Sandy is at peace now and no longer in pain.
