Gogo Sally" Selinah Mubika

June 12, 1940 - July 12, 2021

Gogo Sally passed away at Inova Loudoun Hospital on July 12, 2021 in Leesburg, Virginia. Born in Harare, Zimbabwe to Samuel and Maria Mubika, she is survived by her children, sons-in-laws, grandchildren, great- grand children and lots of  dearly loved extended family members.

Gogo was a businesswoman in Harare before moving to the states in 1995. She was known for her joyful spirit and generosity in giving.

Gogo was an active member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Leesburg VA. She was well-loved by many in the community.

Many people called her, Gogo, grandma or Abuela, the Spanish word for grandmother, because of her warmth and motherly nature.

She will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Selinah's life will be held on Friday July 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE., Leesburg, VA  20176.
