Sharon Jackson Buchanan departed this life on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at her home in Sterling, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her Mother Marion Jackson, her father William June Landsdowne, her son Rodney Jackson, daughter Deanne Jackson, and her brother Christopher Jackson. She leaves to cherish her fond memories, five sons, Christopher Brown (Ellas), Woodbridge, Va, Jericho Jackson, McClean, VA, Darren Jackson (Brooke), Martinsburg, West Va, Darryl Robinson, Jr. (Jodie), Weston, West Va, and Illean Jackson, Clinton, Md; one daughter Kimberly Jackson Harris, Martinsburg, West, Va. three brothers, Louis Willis (Arnita), Clinton Md, Roland Jackson (Jackie), Centerville, Va, Earl Jackson (Shelly), Herndon, Va; two sisters, Raydell Jackson, Ashburn, Va, Maxine Bumpers (Richard), South Riding, Va; seven grandchildren Skylar, Darryl, Jodee, Dametrius, Camila, Damarcus. Drayden; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Two special friends, Jerry Hogan and Annette Robinson.

"The race is not given to the swift neither to the strong, but to those who endure until the end!" (Ecclesiastes 9:11).

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards, Ferry Rd., NE., Leesburg, VA  20176.
