It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Capua, 75, of Leesburg, Virginia, (formerly of Chicago), on September 21, 2022, with her children by her side. Sharon was born May 10, 1947 in Oak Park, Illinois, and spent most of her life in Chicagoland before moving to Virginia in 2015.

She is survived by daughters Kimberly Miele (husband Brock) and Amber Blomquist; sister Barbara Schierl (husband Tom); niece Victoria (husband Mark); grandchildren Jonathan (wife Emily), Connor, and Natalie; great grandchildren Riley, Asher, and Eloise. Her passions included spending time with family and friends, her beloved dog Darby, cooking, shopping, reading, and watching old movies. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents George and Irene Beil; husband Anthony Capua in 2001; and sister Mary Beil in 2002. She was a very loving and compassionate person with an infectious smile who will be deeply missed by family and friends.
