Sharon Maureen Moore, 65, died Friday, April 8, 2016, peacefully at home.

Born in Chicago, IL, on March 5, 1951, Sharon was a graduate from Loudoun County High School in Leesburg, VA, and from St. John's Nursing School in Long Island, NY. She had a 45+-year career as an emergency room nurse at Loudoun Memorial, Suburban and Annie Penn Hospitals. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, pets, dancing and good music.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donna and Jerry Marzigliano and Daniel Hawley; a brother, Sean Hawley and a sister, Heather Rickert.

Left to cherish her memory are her children and their families, Doug, Lynda and Nikki Moore, Beth, Tony and River Meyers, and Greg, Jennifer, Buckley and Ewan Moore; brothers and sisters, Scott Hawley, Dennis Hawley, Anne Batz, Cathy Beresoff, Teresa Moffatt and Michael Marzigliano.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 1 p.m., at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg, VA, with burial in Union Cemetery, Leesburg.
