Shelley Anne Zarobila

of Leesburg, VA

Born 9/30/56 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Phyllis Levine. Survived by husband Clarence Zarobila and sons Joseph and Andrew Zarobila of Leesburg, VA; sister Marcie Patterson, brother David Levine; sisters-in-law Christine Zarobila and Carlotta Mack; brothers-in-law Mitch Patterson, Gene Mack, and Charles Zarobila; aunt to Drew, Abigail, and Samantha Patterson; aunt to Jason and Becca Levine, Justin and Jen Levine; aunt to David and Beth Mack, Greg Mack, Ed and Steph Mack, and Paul and Amanda Schramm; great aunt to Jacob, Louie, and Lizzy Levine; great aunt to Tim, Emma, Clare, and Mae Schramm; and great aunt to Cora Mack, all of Cleveland, Ohio.

Shelley attended Eastlake North High School in Eastlake, Ohio, graduating in 1974. After marrying in 1982 and moving to Virginia, she worked as a dental assistant, crossing guard and lunch assistant at Catoctin Elementary, and as a pre-school aide. She also drove a bus for Leesburg Christian School.

Shelley defined what it is to be a neighborhood mom, always volunteering to take her own and the neighborhood kids to water parks, playgrounds, ballgames and local events. She was a huge baseball fan and volunteered for Central Loudoun Little League and Greater Loudoun Babe Ruth, always the first in line to fill any slot as needed. She loved to bake for her family and for her many friends. She loved to walk, and enjoyed walks throughout the Potomac Crossing neighborhood, Ida Lee Park, and Town of Leesburg. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

A short celebration of life with a service will be held Thursday, August 10 at 11 AM at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Road, NE, Leesburg VA, 20176. Interment at Union Cemetery in Leesburg follows immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shelley's name may be made to:
