Shirley Ann Walker, 73, peacefully joined our Heavenly Father on July 12, 2015 at FuturCare Lochearn in Baltimore Maryland. She was born on October 23, 1941, to the late John George Zill and Lena Mae Chambers Zill. She was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania with her sisters Patricia Zill and Carol Zill Gilchrist (Larry); brothers Robert Zill (Susan) and John Zill. While growing up, she enjoyed waterskiing and spending time with her best friend Patty Tatara.
Shirley graduated from McDowell High School in Erie, Pennsylvania where she participated in many school activities and was well liked by those who knew her. She briefly attended Christian Missionary School and attended Hamot Nursing School where she earned her nursing degree. Shirley was a loving and caring person who worked for years as a dedicated registered nurse at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital where she enjoyed working with infants.

Shirley is survived by her son Christopher Walker of Falling Waters, WV and daughters Susan Walker-Newton (Dave) of Leesburg, VA and Stephanie Walker-Shewbridge (Dwayne) of Charles Town, WV.

In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandsons Christopher, Graham, Austin and Jack; granddaughters Alison, Hope and Aerika. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and her dear friend, Joseph Lechman of Altoona, Pennsylvania.
