Stephen John Ulrich, 76, of Ashburn, Virginia, passed away on March 13, 2024. He was born on August 4, 1947, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Steve was a Senior Consultant with a distinguished career specializing in Strategic Planning, Capture Management, Proposal Management, Red Team Recovery, and Contract Transition. He worked for prestigious Washington DC companies such as the University of Maryland, SAIC, CACI, Dyncorp, and CSC.

He was known for his kindness, generosity, and great sense of humor. Steve loved to entertain family and guests. He and his wife Dolores hosted an annual Thanksgiving celebration with up to 35 guests, embodying the spirit of "the more the merrier."

Steve is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dolores, their five children: Theresa Gray (David), James Thompson (Dimitra), Christa Ulrich, Michael Thompson (Jennifer), and Elizabeth Vatty (Bruce), as well as seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Jeffrey and Christopher, and his sister Danielle.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Muriel Ulrich of Hayward, CA.

Much like his father, Steve loved the game of golf and spent many hours on the links.
