Steven Earl Coffman, "Steve", passed away on March 22, 2015. Steve was 54 years old. Born in 1960, he was the son of Russell and Eva (Harris) Coffman. Steven made a career in the construction and plumbing field.

Steven formed a bond in the early years of his daughters. Memories of falling asleep as Steve sang and played his guitar, taking them fishing and his fun loving nature will always be with them. Steve loved music and could often be found listening to his favorite classic rock music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed attending concerts. Although a quiet man, he could become quite excited watching a football game when his beloved Redskins were playing or when The Undertaker was participating in a wrestling match. He obtained quite a collection of miniature football helmets over the years. He enjoyed bowling; a sport he shared with daughter Shannon. Steven hung her bowling award proudly on the wall for all to see. He and daughter Stephanie enjoyed spending time together while visiting areas and watching wildlife. Steven showed his love for his daughters in many ways, including sending cards with personal notes. He showed his caring compassionate side in the way he cared for his mom when she became ill. Other than his daughters he is survived by his two brothers, Richard and George Coffman .

Although he is gone, his memories will be cherished by the friends and family he leaves behind.


A time of visitation is scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2015 between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176 where a funeral service will immediately follow starting at 12:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Virginia. Pastor Barney Schwanke will be officiating.
