Susan Dorothy See was born on April 18, 1948 in New York, daughter of John and Dorothy See. She graduated from Nursing School in 1968 and was a compassionate nurse for over 40 years.

Susan's life was spent in service to others and she focused on glorifying God. She was a Women's Bible Study Teacher, Youth Group Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Crisis Pregnancy Coach, Children's Choir Teacher and participated in Medical Missions. She played the piano and enjoyed singing in her church choir. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.

Susan is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, James K.Kiefer, daughter Eileen Candelaria (husband Dan) and Jennifer Hyland (husband Todd) & son James ( wife Kati), 16 grandchildren and her mother, Dorothy See and sister, VIrginia Wick and brother, John See.

Susan answered God's call and went home to Him on April 28, 2017 with her family surrounding.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 3 from 6-8 p.m. At Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road, NE, Leesburg, VA 20176.

The funeral service will he held on Thursday, May 4 at 10 a.m at Cornerstone Chapel followed by a short reception at the church and a private burial at Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester, Virginia.

Well done thy good and faithful servant, you were a woman who excelled in your beauty as a daughter, wife, mother and child of the One True King, Jesus Christ our Lord!
