Suzanna Ruth Paulovkin, age 49, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away February 5, 2010 from metastatic breast cancer at the Loudoun Hospital Center.

She was born November 9, 1960 in Altoona, PA and grew up on the family farm in Williamsburg, PA. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1978 and
attended Bob Jones University in South Carolina, Grace College in Indiana, and Edinboro University in Pennsylvania as she pursued an art major. She played women's basketball in high school and at Grace College. Suzy and Ken met in Charleston, West Virginia and were married in 1982 and resided in Reston, Herndon and Leesburg, Virginia while raising their family. Suzy's passions included homeschooling all four of her sons, reading, painting and gardening. She survived an earlier battle with metastatic sarcoma cancer in 1985 before having children. She and her family attended Reston Bible Church.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth Paulovkin and their four sons, Kevin, Dillon, Cody and Tyler of Leesburg, Virginia, her mother Iva Lou Corbin of Leesburg, Virginia, her father Marlin Longenecker of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, four brothers, Alan, Gary, Kenny and Larry Longenecker, 3 nieces and 3 nephews, and many Aunts and Uncles. Her grandparents, Jonas and Ruth Corbin, and Lester and Naomi Longenecker predeceased her in death.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, Leesburg, Virginia 20176 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 2:00 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home 201 Edwards Ferry Road N.E. Leesburg,VA. Graveside service will Held at a later date at Hillsboro Cemetery in Hillsboro, Virginia.
