Suzie Gilbreath, beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, & cousin, slipped unexpectedly but peacefully into the arms of our dear Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Leesburg, VA. She was beautiful inside and out and demonstrated throughout her short life an amazing strength and depth of character.

She was born March 1, 1969 in West Point, NY to Elisabeth (Lisa) and Thomas Harty Sr. (deceased). She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Johnny Gilbreath, her precious son Jakob, and cherished step daughter Lindsay. Suzie was so hoping to see her son achieve his dream of becoming an airline pilot. She will have a front row seat in heaven. Suzie is also survived by her mother, Elisabeth Schell (Kelly), brothers, Thomas (Cindy), and Daniel, numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Suzie was special in many ways and will be dearly missed.

Services will be held in Fort Walton Beach, FL on Saturday, July 26, 2014.

Memorial contributions in memory of Suzie may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Fort Walton Beach, Fl., or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Our hearts ache, but rest in the assurance that we will all be together one day sharing in the heavenly feast.
