Teofila Quiñones Colon aka Hilda, was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico on February 28, 1933. She moved from Puerto Rico to New York with her widowed mother when she was a very young girl. There, while working as a waitress, she met, fell in love, and married Jose Conde Peña December 24, 1953. They were happily married for 55 years. She loved and served God with all her heart. No matter what life threw at her, she weathered through it with a smile. Her constant smile brought happiness to everyone who came in contact with her.

She is survived by her husband Jose, children, Magdalena, Jose and Adela Conde. Also survived by her grandchildren, Janeen, Eileen and Nicholas, great grandchildren, Isaiah and Elijah, beloved mother in law to Thomas, Ivy and grandson-in-law Richard.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 on Monday, February 23, 2009 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. During this time a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. On Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. a graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA.
