Thelma C. Hendrickson age 88 passed away on November 29, 2012 at the Sunrise Senior Living Center in Countryside, Loudoun County, Virginia. Thelma Hendrickson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 7, 1924 to Francis A. Morris and Vilma A. Morris nee: Liebisch (both deceased). Thelma Hendrickson was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years John Hendrickson, who passed away on May 15, 2006 in Flagler Beach, Florida. Thelma Hendrickson resided in Florida from 1985 to 2012. Thelma's husband was a career member of the U.S. Army, and they were stationed together between 1946 and 1963 in Germany, Texas, Virginia, Canada and Hawaii.

Thelma is survived by her son John J. Hendrickson and daughter-in-law Barbara J. Hendrickson of Herndon, Virginia, a son Charles Hendrickson of Grand Bay, Alabama, grandsons Marc and Brian Hendrickson of Herndon, Virginia, Troy Hendrickson of Loudoun County, Virgina, granddaughter Michelle Weber of St. Louis, Missouri and grandson Chase Hendrickson of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Audrey, Regan, Tess Hendrickson and Jackson and McKenna Weber.

Thelma Hendrickson will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Arlington National Cemetery. The service is scheduled on Tuesday, January 8, 2012 starting at 2:45 p.m. at Fort Myer Chapel in Arlington National Cemetery.
