THEODORE BRADLEY POTTER
Theodore (Ted) Bradley Potter, 71, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on March 27, 2024, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Ted was an amazing husband, loving father, brother, friend, and mentor to many along his path.

Ted spent his formative years in Arlington, Virginia where he later started his construction business and commercial pool company. His projects spanned friends' homes to waterparks and Global Embassies; he worked passionately until his final day.

Ted met his wife Nancy in Hilton Head, South Carolina where their love story began, later moving and marrying in Virginia in 1989. They were blessed with two children and beloved Golden Retrievers along the way. Ted enjoyed family beach trips, golfing, Nats games, a well-blended pina colada, his dog, boating days, and time with lifelong friends.

Ted is survived by his wife Nancy, children Abby & Joey, and his siblings Skip, Doug, Penny, Carl, and Leila. He is preceded in death by his mother Dori, father William, and stepfather Byron.

Services will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Colonial Funeral Home in Leesburg Virginia from 10 - 11:30am.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Willowsford Sycamore House from Noon – 3pm.

Those traveling early from out of town are recommended to stay in the Leesburg/Aldie/Middleburg area.
