Theresa C. Naquin, 87, died 5 November 2019 of cardiac arrest in Lovettsville, VA after living with a brain injury for 13 years, 11 of which were under the loving care of The Lovettsville Home.

Theresa Naquin was born 19 September 1932 in New York City. Her family relocated to Washington, D.C., where she graduated from Anacostia High School. She first worked for the Department of the Navy, then modeled, and worked in retail. In 1952, she married Col. Leo Joseph Naquin; together they had four children, and she stayed home to care for them. A classy and spunky woman, Theresa relished her Irishness and will be remembered by those who love her as part Audrey Hepburn, part Jackie O, and part Lucille Ball.

She is survived by three children—Douglas Naquin, Keith Naquin, and Kathleen Thompson--twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two sisters, Kathleen Tartaglione and Maureen Nagle.

Theresa Naquin will be buried with her husband and son, Christopher, at Arlington National Cemetery during a private interment service at a later date. Because of her immense love of children, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
