Mr. Thomas Everett Athey, 88, of Hamilton, Virginia. He was born in Lucketts, Virginia to Henry Thomas Athey and Effie Spring Athey. He was preceeded in death by his parents, his wife Kathleen R. Athey, and eight siblings Calvin, Raymond, Ronald, Henry, Kathleen, Orie, Marie and Eva. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

Thomas was a long-time member of the Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company. Memorials may be sent to the LVFC at P.O. Box 70, Leesburg, VA 20178.
