Thomas Duane Feely, age 70, of Ashburn Virginia, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on September 15, 2018 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
He was pre-deceased by his mother, Freida Fox Feely, his father, Corbin Duane Feely, and his brother, Dennis Bryan Feely. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Karen D. Feely; his daughters, Pamela MacKay and her husband William, of Manassas, Virginia and Heather Cueva and her husband Michael of Turnersville, New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Emma, Brendan, and Jocelyn Cueva and TJ MacKay.
Tom was a long time member of the Masonic fraternity and is a Past Master of Delaware Lodge No. 37, Dagsboro, Delaware and Ashburn-Sterling Lodge No. 288, Ashburn, Virginia. He was also active in several other Masonic organizations. He was a Past Patron of Herndon Chapter 55, Order of the Eastern Star and was currently serving as Worthy Patron of the same chapter. As his daughters grew and joined Masonic Youth organizations, he also served as Associate Bethel Guardian of Bethel 52, Herndon, Virginia, Job's Daughters International and aided in instituting Ashburn Assembly 11, Ashburn, Virginia, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
Tom worked in the Electrical Engineering field for 45 years, and worked for several companies; Kodak, National Cash Register, Central Supply, WESCO, and recently retired from M.C. Dean, Inc.
There will be a private graveside service at Parklawn in Rockville, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Masonic charity of your choosing. A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
