homas Fox, 78 years old, passed away September 15, 2020

Tom Fox was a fifth generation Washingtonian and current resident of Saint Leonard, MD.  His  spouse, Carolyn Fox, passed away in late 2019 and Tom Fox Jr. is survived by his son - Thomas Fox III, beautiful granddaughters - Sophia and Katerina Fox, and sister - Anne Connors.

Tom was a former Marine and worked for a number of years on the printing press floors of the Washington Star and Washington Post before retiring to enjoy more time at the Outer Banks, NC, antiquing and stein collecting, tinkering in the garage, attending car shows, and doing poker runs on his motorcycle.

Tom was well loved by his family, friends, and neighbors.  Even as he dealt with the burdens and challenges of declining health due to heart disease and stroke in recent years, he loved spending time talking with friends and family - he was always very sociable.  He will rest peacefully knowing that he was able to spend just 'a little more time' with his granddaughters and that they will have fond memories of him.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at Mt. Olivet Cemetery; address - 1300 Bladensburg Rd NE, Washington, DC 20002.  For anyone sending flowers, please send directly to Mt.
