Thomas Michael Glenn, 78, of Ashburn, Virginia passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, after facing many years of health complications including Multiple Myeloma.

Tom was born October 31, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri to Mary and James Glenn and was the younger brother to Dianne. After graduating from high school in Omaha, Nebraska, where he spent most of his childhood, Tom attended the University of Nebraska, where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Business Administration. He also served honorably in the United States Army Reserve during the Vietnam War.

Tom met his loving and devoted wife, Kathleen Anne Glenn, while attending the University of Nebraska. The couple enjoyed 54 years of marriage and raised two children, Sarah and Nathan.

Tom retired as the Chief Operating Officer of the Farm Credit Administration in 2004 after 38 years of service. Upon retirement, he worked for another five years at George Washington University. Following his second retirement, Tom enjoyed volunteering with Loudoun Hunger Relief at the local food bank, as well as serving as a Medicare volunteer.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Tom is deeply missed by his surviving family: his wife Kathy; his two children, Sarah Glenn (Milan) and Nathan Glenn (Linda); his seven grandchildren, Connor, Bryce, Aidan, Sebastian, Melina, Elliott, and Daniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Prayer service and the Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 10:00 am at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church 101 Oak Crest Manor Drive NE, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
