Thomas P. Hart Jr. died on April 14th, 2014. Mr. Hart was born in White County Illinois on December 13th, 1924 to the late Thomas P. Hart Sr. and Lula May Hart(Fields). He was a decorated World War II veteran and earned several commendations including a bronze star while serving. Mr. Hart had four brothers, Jon Hart of Infield Illinois and was predeceased by Glendel, Dale, and Bill Hart. Mr. Hart was also predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Mary E. Hart. Together they had four children, Bruce, Bryan, Shelbie Hart and was predeceased by Thomas Hart. Mr. Hart is survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends between 10:00 am and 11:00 am on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 where a service will follow starting at 11:00 am.  Burial to follow at Union Cemetery, Leesburg, VA.  The family asks in lieu of flowers that a contribution be made to the Capital Caring, 208 Gibson St. NW, Leesburg, Virginia 20176.
