Thomas L. Willson, Jr., 90, passed away after a long illness on March 30, 2017.

Tom was born on November 9, 1926 to Dorothy and Thomas Lee Willson, Sr. in Bradbury Heights, Maryland.  In 1943 at the age of 17 he enlisted in the Navy and served on the Aircraft Carrier Enterprise during WWII.

After working in Auto body Repair and Refinishing for several years, Tom became an instructor at the Charles County VOTech Center.  After retirement, he moved with his wife Barbara to Leisure World in Lansdowne, Virginia.

Tom was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.  He will be deeply missed.  He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Barbara Anne Willson; son Gregory B. Willson and his wife Cindy; his grandchildren Benjamin, Rebekah, Elisabeth Heine and her husband Ben; and his sister, Sister Virginia Willson.

Visitation will be held at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road, Leesburg, VA on April 4, 2017 between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.  Family Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Rest Cemetery in LaPlata, Maryland.
