Thomas Gibson Yarbrough II, age 57, passed away on October 7, 2021, at his residence, Potomac Falls Heath and Rehab Center in Sterling, VA.  Tom was born in Hartsville, South Carolina, on January 24, 1964.  He is survived by his father, Thomas Gibson Yarbrough, his stepmother, Patricia Yarbrough, sister, Suzanne Yarbrough Bowman, and brothers, Wynn Yarbrough, Walter Yarbrough, and Christopher Yarbrough.  Tom is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.  He was predeceased by his mother, Fay Wynn Yarbrough and his sister, Carey Wynn Hall.

Tom was a graduate of Loudoun County High School in Leesburg, VA, and received a bachelor's degree from Strayer University. He was active member of Boy Scouts of America and received the rank of Eagle Scout, as well as other scouting honors. Tom was an active member of his church, Calvary Temple Ministries in Sterling, VA.

Tom had many interests, including a fierce love of the Washington Football Team and traveling all over the country.  He had a great love of family and enjoyed spending time with his parents, sister, brothers, and nieces and nephews. Friends recall his sense of humor, loving personality, and loyalty to those he loved.  Tom had an unusually quick wit and had the ability to recall events, dates, and bible verses.

The family will gather for a memorial service at a later date.
