Tracey was born on November 7, 1958, in Washington, DC to the late James F. Hogan and Rosa E. Hogan.

She joined Oak Grove Baptist Church and gave her life to the Lord at an early age.

She attended Loudoun public schools and graduated from Broad Run High School in 1977. Tracey was very personable, but she enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved listening to music, hanging out with friends, parties and driving her 5-speed Chevy Camaro. And it would be a mere oversight to not say, her favorite past time was watching cartoons with the loves of her life, Kirby and Kirk, in particular looney tunes and her all-time favorite "Peppa Pig."

Tracey worked several jobs throughout her career; however she found her fit and passion of many years at Belfort Furniture. Belfort was like family, to her and she was always available and never turned down an opportunity. In fact, when they were short on staff they could always count on Tracey to step in. She worked at Belfort up until the last year or two (2) when her health started to decline. Tracey will always be remembered with that big smile and laugh, she always greeted you with, whenever she saw you.

Tracey adored her boys, Kirby and Kirk, who was always by her side in their own distinct way. And up until the end, they were in her midst and comforter her. Although there were many people in Tracey's life, particularly cousin Daryl and Maria Smith, who had a significant impact in her life and the boy's. Another special person who was always there for her; someone she could call on at any hour, who kept a listening ear, the person, when the boys could not get her to and from, the one she told recently, "if anything ever happens to me look out for my boys," a dear friend, Melvin Jackson, aka Phinny.

Tracey is survived by her loving twins, Kirby Adam and Kirk Amos Holland; her brother Retired Major James Hogan, Jr. (Verma) of Las Vegas, NV, four nieces, Tammie Crank (Terry) of Sterling, VA, Rosita Christian (Toschi) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Michelle Anderson (Kante Anderson) of Las Vegas, NV, Stephanie Hogan of Las Vegas, NV and one nephew, Kenneth Compton of San Diego, CA; one great niece, Marcia Compton of Ashburn, VA; one great-great nephew, Deontay Compton of Sterling, VA; sister-in-law, Shelia Compton of Ashburn, VA, an aunt, Bertie Jean Smith of Sterling, VA, a god-sister, Francita Baker of Centreville, VA, brother-in-law Leroy Holland of Maryland, sister-in- law's Valerie Holland, Geneva Holland and Linda Holland of Philadelphia, PA and a host of cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosa Hogan; husband George Holland, brother Charles Compton, niece Retired SMSgt Catherine Marie Shaw, aka Cathie/Rocky, and aunts and uncles: James Franklin Brooks, Clarence Edwin Brooks, Clara Brooks Thornton, Maurice Edwin Compton, Bertha Gibson, Carroll Benjamin Brooks, Louise Elizabeth Smith, Ethel Marjorie Thompson, Naomi Marie Washington, Natalie Lee Davis, George Louis Brooks, William Franklin Brooks and Joseph Levy Brooks.

Remember Me (Unknown)
Don't remember me with sadness,
Don't remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter,
We've shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented That my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street And you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps Only half a step behind.
So please don't be unhappy Just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you Each morning, noon and night.
