Ulysses Smith born September 21, 1923 in Newberry, South Carolina to Willie Smith and Lilla Elnora Reeder.  Ulysses was preceded in death by three siblings, one brother Clark Evans, two sisters, Willie Lea and Clara Pearl.  He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Eula M. Smith and  a son Marshall E. Smith and wife Trane Smith.  Two granddaughters Robin L. Smith-Shipman and husband Alfred L. Shipman.  Granddaughter Asia Eileen Smith and three great grandchildren, David Raymone Smith, Alex Jalen Shipman and Nicole Alexis Shipman.  Also, a host of family and friends.

Ulysses was a World War II veteran and he will be laid to rest on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at Quantico National Cemetery.
