Valley Bennett (October 1, 1966 - August 30, 2026) was a beloved mother, sister, friend, and overall superhuman who left us too early after a brief, but hard fight with cancer. Valley was an incredible person who cared deeply for those and the world around her. She was an abundant source of love who was always supportive, reliable, and kind. Her strong sense of self was infectious, as well as her laugh and the way she loved. She left a positive imprint on anyone she interacted with because she was a positive person through and through. She will always be remembered, and the inspiring way she carried herself will continue living through all the lives she was a part of.

Valley was born on October 1st, 1966 at 7:19pm to Bob and Sue Bennett in Las Vegas, Nevada. She grew up in many locations around the world, like Texas and Taiwan, but primarily grew up in Great Falls, Virginia. She graduated from Langley Highschool in 1984. She received her Bachelors of Science from University of Southern Colorado in 1991 with degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Valley was a determined athlete. She grew up swimming, and completed many marathons: Marine Corp Marathon (2x), New York City Marathon (1x), Philadelphia Marathon (1x), and many 10ks, triathalons, and biathalons. One of her biggest athletic accomplishments was receiving her Black Belt in American Karate in 2019. She competed in/won many tournaments, and martial arts became one of the biggest drives and passions for her till the end of her life. Her dedication to being fit, healthy, and caring for others was apparent in her earlier job of running her mother’s health food store, For Goodness Sakes. She later became a personal trainer, combining her knowledge of martial arts, fitness, and health to better her clients’ lives and bodies.

Left to cherish her unforgettable presence and love are her three children: Paris Dinh, Geneva Dinh, and Tai Dinh; her former husband Patrick Dinh; her siblings: Shell Bennett, Storm Bennett, Dawn Bennett, and Steele Bennett; her parents: Robert and Sue Bennett; along with other close friends and family.
