Verlie Mae Quensenberry was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 13, 2010. She was 83 years old.
Verlie was born to William Scott Quesenberry and Rosa (Hollandsworth) Quesenberry on March 23, 1927 in Carroll County, Virginia. Two years later, she and her family moved to the Lucketts area in Loudoun County. Being raised on a farm, she and her siblings learned the value of hard work and sacrifice and she lived these ethics throughout her life. Verlie was also a life long and faithful member of Faith Chapel Presbyterian Church in Lucketts.
Left to share the memories are her brothers: James Quesenberry, Junior Quesenberry, Archie Quesenberry, Abie Quesenberry; her sisters: Lucille Cooper, Edna Frye, Lorraine Loy and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Scott and Rosa Quesenberry and sister; Virginia McKimmey.
The family will recieve friends on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd, NE, Leesburg, VA from 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home with graveside service at Union Cemetery in Leesburg, VA
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to KMI, 43401 Evans Pond Road, Leesburg, VA 20176 to be distributed according to Verlie's wishes.
