Haig Farmer died at home in Leesburg, Virginia at the age of 78 on Sunday, October 28, 2018.

Haig is survived by his beloved wife; Barbara; and her children, Michael and Lisa Handforth, and Jennifer and Edward Storozuk; as well as his grandchildren; Kaitlyn Storozuk and Aaron Storozuk. Haig was generous with his time and advice and will be dearly missed.

Haig was born in Richmond, Virginia and held Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He was retired after decades of dedicated civil service in the Environmental Protection Agency.

A funeral is scheduled for 10:00 am on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church on 101 Oakcrest Manor Drive NE, Leesburg, VA 20176.
