Víctor Manuel Cruz, 89, from Ayutuxtepeque, San Salvador, El Salvador, passed away peacefully on January 25th, 2020 in Inova Lansdowne hospital.

Manuel was born on January 2nd, 1931 in Ayutuxtepeque, San Salvador, El Salvador.
Son of Elvira Guillen, A skilled auto mechanic by profession, displaying a passion for automobiles, he operated his own auto shop for many years.
Manuel was happily married to Marina Yolanda Noubleau de Cruz who was his partner in life for 62 years at the time of his death.

Manuel was a tireless and selfless volunteer at The church in Ayutuxtepeque since a very young age, person of faith and lived life serving others. A kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. Manuel  was committed to family, making sure that all knew of support to achieve their highest potential.  Manuel's children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the pride and joy of Manuel's life. The legacy of Manuel's kind spirit, passion for experiences, love of reading, and zest for life will live on through them.
It was often said that there wasn't a stranger that Manuel didn't know-or a smile kept to oneself. He loved the holidays, his favorite was Christmas, as he loved to set up the nativity scene. We will miss him dearly but he will not be forgotten.

Manuel is survived by his loving wife, Marina Yolanda Noubleau de Cruz, 5 loving children Manuel Antonio Cruz(deceased), Jaime Ernesto Cruz ( deceased), Ana Beatriz Cruz de Tejada, Manuel Antonio Cruz Noubleau and Claudia Lissette Lambrechts 8 grandchildren, Efrain Tejada Cruz, Melania Thomson, Claudia Cruz, Lisbeth Tejada Cruz, Jaime  Cruz, Jaime Tejada Cruz, Lisa Lambrechts and Monica Lambrechts, 5 great grandkids Arya Thomson, Hadley Thomson, Ashley Medina, Kylie Cruz and Issac Paul And his 7 loving siblings, Neddy, Guayo, Conchita, Joaquin, Cecilia, Juan and Eugenia. Family will receive friends on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd.,NE, Leesburg, VA  20176 where a service will begin at 2:00 pm.  Interment to follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.
