Victoria Lea Ray

Victoria Lea "Vicky" Ray sadly passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the age of 64.  Vicky was a very loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, cousin, and friend.  Vicky's smile and laughter is a treasured memory for everyone that met her.

Vicky was born in Indianapolis, IN to her loving parents Leo and Katharina.  After attending Indiana University in Bloomington, IN she made her way to Texas.

Vicky spent over 20 years in various positions within the banking industry while living in Texas.  Vicky volunteered with a number of organizations and she especially enjoyed "The Spirit of Christmas" each year.  She had many dear friends in Texas that she cherished and thoroughly enjoyed her "Pokeno" card game night with the girls.

Vicky has been in Virginia for over a decade now and working for a company that she really enjoyed.  She had a very close-knit group of friends in Virginia that kept her laughing and smiling.  Vicky will be remembered for her caring and thoughtfulness for all of those around her.

Above all, Vicky loved her family dearly and would do anything for them.  She leaves behind her husband, Steve, sister Evelyn, niece Andrea, and a number of other special cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd., NE., Leesburg, VA  20176 where a memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm.
