Miss Bowie was born in West Virginia on August 24, 1924. She was predeceased by her parents Edward L. and Virginia R.(Shutt) Bowie. Miss Bowie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
At the time of her death, Miss Bowie was a homemaker.
