"Virginia Ann Cummins passed away from complications of Alzheimers and Heart Disease on Thursday, Nov 17th at Heritage Hall Nursing Facility in Leesburg, VA. She was 86 years old. Virginia was born to George & Mary Eslin on October 16th, 1930 in Washington, DC. She married Owen Neal Cummins on June 9th, 1956 and was with him until his death on October 8, 2003.

Virginia was a woman who spent her life creating beauty, whether it was growing prize winning roses, decorating her home, tackling chef level recipes or spending time in her garden, she always aspired to provide the best for those around her. She also had a great sense of humor and love of music, especially Frank Sinatra who was her favorite singer.

She is survived by her brother George Eslin, her daughters Cindy Cummins, Kathy Byer and her spouse John; her grandchildren Karlyn Patterson, and John Owen Patterson and his spouse Shannon; her nieces Beth Hastings, Janet Chick and nephew Donald Chick."

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10:00am at St John The Apostle Church, Leesburg, VA.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11:00am at St. George Catholic Church Cemetery, Valley Lee, MD.
