Obituary
Virginia C. Kern, 93, of Ashburn, VA passed away December 27 at the Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leesburg.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia M. Hoffman of Sterling, VA; two sons, Gary R. Kern of San Jose, CA and Richard D. Kern of Ottsville, PA; four granddaughters, Sara K. Hoffman, Megan Kern Dean, Kristen Kern, and Stephanie Kern; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Ashburn Presbyterian Church and a prolific maker of Prayer Shawls.
Graveside services will be conducted at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA.
Memorials may be sent to the Loudoun Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Attention Business Office, 235 Old Waterford Road NW, Leesburg, VA 20176 or to the American Stroke Association 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
