Virginia E. Newcomb of Leesburg, VA born April 19, 1930, passed away on August 11, 2011. Virginia was married to James W. Newcomb who preceded her in death in 1985, but they were married just shy of 39 years. She most recently worked at Johnson's House of Beef for approximately 16 years.

She is survived by her daughter Betty A. Blaylock of Leesburg, VA; her grandchildren Sharon A. Signor of Hamilton, VA and JC Blaylock of Leesburg, VA; her great-grandchildren James A. Signor of Hamilton, VA and Moriah Opal Blaylock of Leesburg, VA; sister Dorothy McGaha of Leesburg, VA; brother Eddie Hamilton of Martinsburg, WV; sister Shirley Duley of Leesburg, VA; brother Roy Hamilton of Centreville, VA; and many beloved nephews and nieces.

Those who preceded her in death include her husband,James W. Newcomb; her daughter, Mary L. Frye; her brother, Charles H. Hamilton; her sister, Kathleen L. Costello; her brother, Bruce F. Hamilton; her brother, James W. Hamilton; and her brother Kenneth E. Hamilton.

Her family and friends will dearly miss her. In her honor a graveside ceremony will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 1 pm at Union Cemetery 323 N King Street, Leesburg, Virginia, 20176 where she will be laid to rest.
