Vivian Virginia Light passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in her home in Waterford after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Born July 19, 1935 in Loudoun County. Daughter of a late James B. Light and Elsie V. Light. Vivian graduated in 1954 from Leesburg high school.

Vivian worked one summer for Whitmore and Arnold before going to work for the government where she retired from in June 1991.

She is survived by her brother Charles H. Light of Waterford, sister Ruby Hissan of Ashburn, and nieces and cousins and many friends.

Service will be Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 11 AM at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE., Leesburg, VA 20176. Interment will be at Union Cemetery 323 N King St. Leesburg, VA 20176
