Mrs. Wanda Lee Womeldorph Hough passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 in her home in Leesburg. Wanda was born on June 27, 1926 and was a lifelong resident of Loudoun County. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd A. Womeldorph and Nancy B. Womeldorph. Wanda was baptized in New Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Lovettsville and remained a devoted and active member of the congregation for her lifetime. She also taught in Loudoun County public schools for thirty-nine years.

She is survived by her brother, Lloyd B. Womeldorph; daughter Susan M. Hough and husband Michael Liikala and grandchildren Branner and Ashley and daughter Sandra L Hough and husband Craig Cornwell and grandchildren Wesley and Graham. Her husband, Roger L. Hough and brothers, Donald E. Womeldorph and Raymond C. Womeldorph preceded her in death.

A time of visitation for family and friends has been set for Friday, March 5, 2010 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Rd. NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. A service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 12942 Lutheran Church Rd., Lovettsville, VA starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Lovettsville, VA.
