Wanda Skinner Udy passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at Fairfax Hospital Heart Institute. Wanda was born in Ft. Campbell, Kentucky on May 17, 1955, a daughter of Col (Ret.) Robert Farr and Marilyn Farr.  As an "Army Brat" Wanda lived in several locations.  She graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. degree in Nursing in June, 1977.  She worked as a nurse for 30 plus years in several hospitals in Northern Virginia.  Her first husband, Michael Skinner, of Reston, VA died in April, 1989.  She was married to her present husband, John F. Udy, who lives in Sterling, VA.  She is also survived by her two sons, Joshua Skinner and wife, Jenny and their son "Benji"; and Benjamin R. Skinner, all from Reston; also a brother, B.J. Farr of McDonald, Ohio.

Memorial services and celebration of Wanda's life will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Shepherd Gate Church, 4310 Pleasant Valley Road, Chantilly, VA 20151.  Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry RD NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Wanda's memory to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
