Wayne Blaser went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 10, 2023. He was born on June 30, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pa to Samuel and Elva Blaser.

Wayne grew up in Springfield, PA and attended Springfield HS. He went to Northwestern University and then Princeton Theological Seminary. He later obtained a doctorate from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Wayne served several Presbyterian churches during his long career preaching and teaching in MD, Ohio, PA, VA and FLA. When he retired and moved back to Frederick, MD he served in Lutheran Churches.

Wayne enjoyed swimming, exercising, model trains, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Donna Germroth Blaser, son-Keith (Karen) of Apollo,PA and daughter Staci Rihs (Jonathan) of Leesburg, VA.  Grandchildren-Rochelle Koeberle, Kasandra and Kody Cessna, Abigail, Madison and Jacob Rihs. Sister: Lois Pinto (John) Easton, PA and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at Emmanuel Trinity Lutheran Church in Frederick, MD on June 18 at 2:00. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2.
