All that truly knew Wes, knew his want and love for family, his desire for peace in this world, his accomplishment of his PHD, love of music, and the unwavering spirit of life. Although Wesley faced much internal turmoil and addictions that he fought daily, his longing desire and love of family was always there. Wesley could make you laugh with is Jim Carey impersonations, his ability to try and find humor in dark times, his love of aliens, his "let's all just get along", and tripping over his own two feet to avoid hurting an ant. As a family, we mourn this great loss and the constant thoughts of what could have been. Through the battles he faced in this world, he was seen, he was heard, and he was and still is loved.
"I know your life on earth was troubled and only you could know the pain. You weren't afraid to face the devil, you were no stranger to the rain. Go rest high on that mountain, Son your work on earth is done. Go to Heaven a-shoutin' love for the father and son."
"There's no greater tragedy in life than the death of a child, only a mother and father who loses a child can know the depths of that grief. There is a special place in our hearts for the one we call brother. The bond we had is eternal, not even death can break the bond we shared.
" The family will be holding a private memorial service to honor Wesley.
The family would like to show its gratitude towards the VA along with his case worker, Brittany. The work you do with the heart and soul along with effort put in, never goes unnoticed.
