Obituary
William "Billy" Owens, 44, formerly of Leesburg, VA, died suddenly Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in Easton, MD where he was presently living.
Billy was born on June 15, 1966 in Leesburg, VA. He was the son of the late Ettie Payne Fox of Charles Town, WV and the late Billy Lee Owens of Spotsylvania, VA .
Billy is survived by one son, William "Micheal" Danner, of Brunswick, MD and one granddaughter, Olivia Michelle Danner of Brunswick, MD. He is also survived by a stepfather, "Pops" Wayne D. Fox of Manassas, VA, one brother, Timothy Lee Owens and wife, Amy Jo Harlow Owens, of Charles Town, WV. Two sisters, Cheryl L. Owens and life partner, Peggy Boehm of Leesburg, VA and Shelby "Sissy" Johnston and husband Jimmy of Harpers Ferry, WV. He also leaves behind four nieces, Janelle Holmes, Briana Owens, Ettie McKenzie Owens, Amber Jo Owens and Demi Grace Owens and one nephew, Eric Johnston all of whom will miss him greatly.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm. on September 22, 2010 and will hold a funeral service on September 23, 2010 at 11:00 am at Colonial Funeral, in Leesburg, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to Colonial Funeral Home, 201 Edwards Ferry Road, NE, Leesburg, VA 20176.
