William Joseph Kadic
June 30, 1930 – September 10, 2018
William Joseph Kadic, 88, of Olney, Maryland, passed away peacefully at his most recent residence in Frederick, Maryland. Bill was born in Washington, DC on June 30, 1930, and is now reunited with his beloved parents, Karl Kadic and Fanny Laycock Kadic. Bill was career military, serving as a Sargent Major in the U.S. Army for over 26 years. Committed in service to his country and his comrades, his tours of duty included Okinawa, Japan, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, to mention a few.
Bill had a great affection for animals, particularly his four-legged feline companion, Niko. He was also a great storyteller and jokester as his dry sense of humor will be greatly missed.
He leaves behind his cousins Sherie Nan Sherwood Grimes, Warren Grimes, Julianne Miller, and Marianne Hill.
In honor of Bill's great love of animals and service as a Veterinary Technician in Vietnam, please consider making a donation in Bill's name in lieu of flowers to Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, PO Box 637, Washington Grove, MD 20880 or go to MCSPCA.org.
