William Joseph Kropp, long time resident of Leesburg, VA passed away suddenly on January 10, 2010 of natural causes. Mr. Kropp was born on March 18, 1938, in Atlanta, GA and was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Before retiring, Mr. Kropp served as the Executive Director of the National Humane Education Society and prior to that was employed with Graydon Manor for 30 years. He enjoyed playing golf, listening to jazz music and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Joe and John Kropp both of Cincinnati, Ohio; 2 daughters, Tracy (Tim) Kenny of Great Falls, VA, and Judy (Ray) McHenry of Hamilton, VA; and 3 grandchildren, Keira and Aidan Kenny and Josie McHenry who loved their Grandpa dearly.

A visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 from 2-5pm at Colonial Funeral Home 201 Edwards Ferry Rd NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. A service will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. John the Apostle Parish Center, Leesburg, VA. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
