Obituary
William G. "Bill" Leonard, 47, of Purcellville, Virginia passed away on January 31, 2009.
He was born in Pennsylvania to parents John and Dorothy (Hisker) Leonard on April 4, 1961. Bill was married to his best friend and love of his life, Cheryl J. Leonard, for 21 years. Also surviving are his children whom he adored, Jennifer and Jason.
Bill was a very talented carpenter. He worked his trade in the Loudoun area since 1986. Bill took part in Christmas in April. He remodeled custom kitchens and bathrooms; modeling the kitchens after chefs kitchens in finer restaurants.
His favorite pastime was fishing on the riverbanks of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.
Bill was described as having a heart of gold. He was a tenderhearted man who was devoted to his friends and family. Bill was well liked by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at Saint Francis de Sale Catholic Church, 37700 St. Francis Court, Purcellville, Virginia on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 6:00 p.m.
A benefit will be held at a later date with proceeds going to assist the family.
