William “Bill” Parham (67) was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. Bill went to California on vacation as a teenager and stayed for 40 years. Following in his father’s footsteps, he became an electrician. It was at work where he met Martha Petry, who became his wife of 30 years. Bill and Martha relocated to Virginia in 2015. When he wasn’t in the gym, Bill could be found doing the things he enjoyed most: playing golf, fishing, watching his beloved Raiders, Lions, Anaheim Ducks, or NASCAR’s great Dale Earnhardt.

Bill’s journey with cancer was long and arduous, but never lonely, as he was constantly surrounded by the love of his many family members and friends. Bill is survived by his wife, Martha (Petry) Parham, and his siblings, Nancy (Parham) Harding, John D. Parham, and Jo Ann (Parham) Valen. 

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg.
