William (Bill) Ridge of Philomont, VA and Essex, MA died peacefully in his sleep on September 6, 2026. He is survived by his wife, three children, and two sisters. Bill will be loved and remembered by many, including former sailing crewmates and competitors, classmates, colleagues, friends, and anyone who was ever lucky enough to share a glass of port or a lively conversation with him.
