Zorah Thérèse Kelsey, of Thionville France, was a French and Spanish high school teacher in Dayton, Ohio until she retired in 1998. She was passionate about teaching and her family.
Through a constant pursuit of learning, she achieved graduate degrees in both French and Spanish literature while rearing four children and working full-time. In 1980, she was honored with a full-page article in the Dayton Daily News for her achievements in education.
At the age of 82, she passed away on December 4, 2016. In addition to her love for teaching, she loved to discuss history, religion and current events; she was an avid reader and interested in the arts; and she enjoyed walking outdoors, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children and her eight grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held December 17 th at Colonial Funeral Home of Leesburg, Virginia with a gathering commencing at 10 am and services commencing at 11 am.
